Further Information : Confined Space Entry Training
Description
Course Overview:
Two-thirds of all confined space fatalities involve would-be rescuers. To prevent such tragic incidents, it's crucial to implement proper confined space entry practices that eliminate the need for rescue operations. Even the best-planned rescues can turn fatal. Rescues can be carried out by any trained and qualified employee or professional rescuer. Qualifications include both knowledge and experience in handling all hazards related to rescue and confined space entry operations.
Confined Space Rescue training is essential and legally mandated for employers with permit-required confined spaces where employees will work. This training ensures that rescue and emergency services are available in case of an accident. It also serves to refresh previously learned concepts and provides regular hands-on training and drills to maintain the competence of Emergency Response Team (ERT) members.
